Today's Oklahoma Master Chorale began in 1990 as the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Chorus.  Several years later, the name was changed to reflect more closely the standard repertoire that the chorale performs.

It's founder, Dr. Nettie Williams, guided the group's growth in musicianship and skill, with the result that it is now recognized around the state for its professionalism and artistry.  Chorale members represent a cross-section of Oklahoma residents and are prominent in their communities as educators, attorneys, executives, entrepreneurs, homemakers, artisans, students, retirees, parents and grandparents.  Many contribute their musical talents to their community churches.  Each Chorale member ensures the group's success with a professional approach to singing with a long term commitment to the organization.

Singers in the Central Oklahoma area who possess the necessary desire and dedication are encouraged to join the Chorale.  New members of all ages, backgrounds and vocal ranges are welcome.  Singers interested in becoming a member may schedule an audition with Dr. Pajan by calling 864-918-1312.

The Oklahoma Master Chorale is led by Director, Dr. Adam Pajan and accompanied by pianist David Robillard.
